Values

These values inform our approach.

Custodianship

We are the generation with greater influence than any before us and ever again to shape the future of life on Earth. We have a moral obligation to be good ancestors.

Life centric

Life-centric perspectives honour the deep time, evolutionary, interconnectedness of all living beings and ecosystems; past present and future.

Place sourced

The essence of place exists and serves as a frame of reference that is big enough to be an ecosystem small enough to hold meaning. All places are unique; the natural landscapes and waterways, the weather and seasons, the flora and fauna and ecological patterns of life, First Nations culture and wisdom, and contemporary life, all coalesce to continually inform, shape, make and create place in an ongoing process of evolution.

Relational

Relational honours the unique, relational interconnectedness of all biodiverse life forms and ecosystems (including human) that play a unique part in Earth’s vitality as part of the cosmos.

ReWonder is the professional practice of Trish Hansen.

ReWonder is the evolution of Urban Mind Studio, bringing together the legacy of several decades of innovative projects and initiatives into a new era of practice.

Shaped by the oceans and the spirit of seafaring through her father’s Danish and Norwegian ancestry and the wild places of her mother’s Irish and Scottish roots, Trish was born and grew up on the unceded lands of Kaurna People in Tarntanya, of karra yerta; red gums along the creek, sacred places known as Adelaide, South Australia.

As a mother, as community, a former health practitioner, community weaver, creative producer, writer, facilitator and educator, Trish catalyses regenerative futures in myriad, collaborative ways.

Her work spans diverse sectors and industries, partnering with curious and visionary leaders to weave ecological, cultural, and social flourishing into the fabric of their professional practice and industry endeavors.

Trish writes children's fiction, using magical realism to translate the voices of Earth’s smallest living beings into eco-futurist adventures.

At the heart of her practice is a deep commitment to amplifying and integrating the perspectives of local living beings (including humans) and ecosystems into strategic planning, urban design and decision-making, through the voices of children, young people and the imagined spirit of future generations.
